December 10th, 2008 marked the 60th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the founding document of the modern human rights system.
To celebrate this anniversary, the ACLU created this video which provides historical insights to the UDHR and advocates for a recommitment by the U.S. to the principles and ideals of the UDHR so our country can fulfill its promise to ensure equality and justice for all at home.
