Daniel Hazen is a survivor of psychiatry. In addition to his part-time contract as PsychRights' Northeast Coordinator, Daniel is currently active working as a human rights activist, advocate, organizer, nationally and internationally. He is also active on the board of directors of the U.S. Human Rights Network, and the Center for the Human Rights of Users and Survivors of Psychiatry, Inc. Daniel brings special knowledge, training, background and experience advocating and organizing for human rights and ending the horrific actions of forced psychiatric interventions and human rights violations in both the psychiatric and prison industries.
