Lydia Cacho Ribeiro, a Mexican journalist who has been persecuted for her work, spoke to MexicoReporter.com in August 2007 at an Amnesty International Conference on the current climate for journalists in Mexico. The country as reported to be the most dangerous place to work as a journalist in the world after Iraq last year, by Reporters Without Borders.
