How can media make change? By taking our message to the internet rather than the streets are we more less effective? Are traditional notions of protest in the United States still useful anymore now that we live in a wired world?
Furthermore, if we are to use communication and media forums as a primary mode of activism, how do we make it most effective? Is it useful to reach across the aisle to our enemies or just to rally the troops in our own camp--that is, are we trying to change minds or rally support?
