About RAU

The Research and Advocacy Unit (RAU) conducts research on victims of organized violence and torture with the aim of advocating the government to promote and protect human rights and put an end to the politically motivated violence as well as redress for these victims.
RAU has two main programmes, transitional justice and community governance. Under the transitional justice programme are the women’s project and the displacement project.
