For over 40 years in over 45 countries, a small group of dedicated attorneys are helping the poorest of the poor in rural villages to get access to their most important asset: land. In many countries, women and girls are not able to own property--they ARE property. This video explains how it all began in the midst of the Vietnam war in 1967, and how RDI has gone on to help over 400 million of the world's poorest people rise from poverty with secure land rights.
