Filipino Lawyer Recalls Illegal Arrest, Detention

Remigio Saladero Jr., a labor lawyer in the Philippines and a columnist of Pinoy Weekly, was arrested and detained in October last year based on what he called as "baseless charges," among them that he had participated in an ambush by communist guerrillas.
In this Bulatlat.com video, taken on May 21, 2009, during a forum by the newly formed movement Pagbabago, he recalls the harrowing experience.
