It is a non-professional group interested in implementing human rights in Egypt.

First demanding the release of the recently detained demonstrators of 6th of April strike supporting workers in Al-Mahalla state-owned textile factory, demanding a raise in salaries and improvement of working conditions. The strike was in response to raise in basic food prices with no changes of wages.

Second the calling off of an emergency law that has been ruling Egypt non-stop since 1980, allowing arbitrary arrests of whoever opposes the regime.

Gabriel Deng, Koor Garang and Garang Mayuol, Southern Sudanese “Lost Boys” in the US, were forced to flee Sudan as children when their villages were attacked in 1987, finding safety for a time in a refugee camp in Ethiopia until needing to flee once more, this time to Kakuma camp in Kenya. Since leaving Sudan, they have scarcely been able to obtain news about their villages or families.
