Literally, every day, the police are getting away with murder. These are just some of the stories of those who have lost their loved ones at the hands of the police and other unaccountable tools of the state.

On the last saturday of october, every year for the last nine years, there has been a gathering in London of the friends and family of those who have been killed while in the custody of the state and it's employees....

This video follows the slow silent procession from Trafalgar Square down Whitehall. At Downing Street the procession became a noisy demo and a list of around 1,200 people killed while in custody in the UK was handed in to number 10.

While flowers were laid outside Downing Street, people told their own personal stories of the loss of their loved ones at the hands of the authorities. The police kept a low profile throughout the demonstration which ended up at Parliament Square where the placards containing the names of about 150 of those killed were placed facing parliament.
