Objectives of this course are:
• To provide participants with basic knowledge of human rights that will enable them to integrate human rights principles, standards, and approaches into their daily work.
• To enable participants to form networks with like-minded professionals from similar countries and institutions, as well as from different kinds of institutions and countries, so as to benefit from each others experiences.

Participants: staff members of NGO’s, state institutions and international organisations who work in developing countries, countries in transition to democracy, and post-conflict countries
Tuition, fee, lodging: tuition fee is 3448 USD, which includes only the course fee, materials, lunch and coffee breaks. The course fee does not include travel expenses, visa arrangements, hotel or accommodation, or insurance, and the participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation. Deadline for applications is 21 August 2007.
