La police et l'armée bissau-guinéenne ont massacré les manifestants pacifiques hostiles au régime du président Lansana Conté. Une vingtaine de morts ont été enregistrés durant la seule journée de lundi 12 février et plus de 100 depuis le début des manifestations sous l'égide des syndicats et de la société civile.
