Tibet Africa Rainbow Allaiance

The Tibet Africa Rainbow Alliance (TARA) meet outside of parliament to hand out flyers to passers buy to inform them of the human rights violations presently going on in Tibet. Ian Macfarlane, the founder of TARA also explains 'The Middle Way' socio-political strategy as identified by His Holiness the Dalai Lama (for more information see http://www.tibet.com and http://www.tibet.net).

We understand that the Tibetan culture offers us all a system that unites temporal and spiritual rule offering people a chance to gain enlightenment through their everyday upkeep of a healthy sustainable society. It is therefore of utmost importance that this culture be protected and given a space to continue developing autonomously. We also believe that the geographical location known as Tibet is most suitable for this to happen because it is the home of the culture and it is also the roof of our world and we should reinstate this jewel back in to this crown chackra.

The stabilising effect world wide would be tremendous if people knew that this peaceful culture was restored to it's rightful place. A more stable, happier environment ultimately facilitates better business and development. What’s more, the area of Tibet is home to vast areas of land that are of material value to the people that now exploit it so unsustainably. Understanding the interdependent nature of the universe and therefore our social and industrial systems, the Tibetan culture can offer an example and an opportunity for a lasting sustainable and cooperative frame work with which to manage our rapidly depleting recourses whilst maintaining growth. This type of immediate sustainable growth can only be made in conscious co-creation with nature (as exemplified by http://www.findhorn.org/).

Whether supporting Tibet's autonomy as a humanitarian issue, to preserve a culture that serves life through teaching enlightenment, or as an long term investment, one must realize that in doing so, you are breaking down the illusory boundaries of nationality and separation that keep us from understanding the universe as it naturally operates: as a unified whole. It is logical that we will do better if we work with the nature of the universe than against it, in so much as happiness and longevity are concerned, perhaps not so much if we wish to sustain illusions of our power over any separate part of it (I site the ignorance of the bank of England and the federal reserve of America who often knowingly still work for slavery on a global scale via world economic systems – see the Film ‘Zeitgeist’ for more information by following this link:

What an exciting and lovely future we have to look forwards to co-creating with nature =)
