Notoriously, the Catholic Church in the Philippines is one of the most authoritative and powerful anti-mining voices in the country. With this short video, two representatives of the Catholic Church in Palawan wish to bring awareness, as well as requesting support, to the members of the Filipino expatriate community in Italy. The latter, in turn, are mobilizing their own resources and energies to bring their voices of dissent to the national government: Palawan, a marvel of Gods Creation, should not be destroyed by human selfishness and greed!
