We have heard the slogan "Never Again" in referral to the European Holocaust last century. Unfortunately, another genocide continues to take place in the 21st century while most of the world leaders continue to ignore this humanitarian crisis. The documentary "Never Again?" released on May 2009 is about the genocide going on in the Darfur region of Sudan for more than six years.
"Never Again?" contains footage of survivors shot in displacement camps in Sudan and neighboring Chad as well as interviews with scholars and refugees who found political asylum in Europe and Israel, and with members of the Sudanese Liberation Movement (SLM) living in France, Belgium and the Netherlands. To protect the refugees who spoke out their names have been withheld.
Never Again? reveals : Why the United Nations is willing to continue to ignore this massacre? Why the international community have not been able to do enough to stop this genocide? What can be done?
