Sam Gregory

Sam Gregory, Program Director for WITNESS

I have worked at WITNESS for eight years, helping human rights group use video in their campaigns. I currently manage our Core Partnerships program and 'Seeding Video Advocacy' initiative. Previously I coordinated our work in Asia, including Core Partnerships in Burma, Philippines and Indonesia.

I've worked on our training materials too - check out the 'Video for Change' book and the 'Guide to Video Advocacy' animations in the Toolkit section of the Hub.

I'm always interested in hearing about innovative ways people are using video for change!

Asia Pacific Network of Sex Workers is a coalition of sex worker groups and projects working on issues of HIV and Human Rights for female, male and transgender sex workers across Asia and the Pacific. The APNSW facilitates sex worker participation and information sharing on both technical and policy issues, encourages leadership among sex workers and does direct advocacy.
We use an arts based approach to ensure the involvement of grass roots sex worker activists who can't speak English. We see video as a tool of change.
