Dove Soap isn't too clean
Unilever, the company behind products like Dove soap, is driving forest destruction and speeding up climate change by buying palm oil from companies which are destroying Indonesia's rainforests to make way for palm oil plantations. bad news not only for the millions of people who depend on these for their way of life and endangered species such as the orang-utan, but also for the global climate. For this reason today Greenpeace took actions at the offices and factories of Unilever in the UK, the Netherlands and Italy.Latest discussions
