The US state department has committed to taking in 12,000 Iraqi refugees by the end of September.

With a month to go to meet that deadline, so far 11,000 have been admitted. But many of them have problems integrating when they arrive.

Nada, 25, left behind her parents and sisters, who are still waiting for their paperwork to begin a new life in the US. Another sister was killed.

Al Jazeera's Cath Turner reports on Nada's arrival to Salt Lake City. (September 10, 2008)
