Residents of villages ravaged by the recent conflict between Georgia and Russia are taking stock of the damage and chaos left behind.

The conflict has pitted neighbour against neighbour in towns where two ethnic groups have lived side-by-side for centuries.

Thousands are still living in refugee camps wondering if life will ever get back to normal.
