Taking the Pledge is a 13-minute video featuring sex workers from Bangladesh, Brazil, Cambodia, Mali, Thailand and more! They describe the problems created by the 'anti-prostitution pledge' required to receive USAID and PEPFAR funds.

You're probably already familiar with the fact that US policies affect funding domestically and internationally--this video focuses specifically on the way US anti-prostitution policy negatively affects sex workers and public health on a global level. There are many grassroots sex worker movements which work to decrease stigma and increase rights of sex workers, from a human rights-based perspective, and this film is part of that.
