More than 70 villagers including women and children from several communities in Bavel and Koas Krolar districts of Battambang province. The villagers walked the 291 kms from Battambang province to the capital Phnom Penh in order to lodge complaints with the national government. It took them 6 days. They are from communities affected by two land disputes which district and provincial authorities have failed to resolve.
This video was captured by local land activists supported by LICADHO on cameras supplied by WITNESS.
