Rising Voices, the grassroots outreach arm of Global Voices, has just announced its newest round of grantees at the GV Summit in Budapest.

The six selected grantees represent the most innovative applications of citizen media tools like blogs, podcasts, and online video to help further the advocacy goals of public health organizations, and to empower the communities they work with.

It's great to see the list include so much video, and perspectives from groups and voices so often excluded from debates, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the results of these, hopefully on the Hub...  Read the Rising Voices announcement and see the list of grantees here.
