This is a book discussion hosted by Northeastern University on Brining Human Rights Home, a 3 volume set dedicated to bringing the human rights frame to domestic U.S. issues, especially of race and poverty. NLCHP Human Rights Staff Attorney Eric Tars , who authored a chapter, begins talking at 48:30 into the video. Other presenters include Maria Green, Assistant Professor at Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and Management; Martha Davis, Northeastern University Law Professor; Wendy Pollack, Director of the Women's Law & Policy Project for the Sargent Shriver National Center on Poverty Law; and Cathy Albisa, Executive Director of the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative.
