Created by award-winner filmmaker Jehane Noujaim, Pangea Day is the first global campfire, promising to fuel a new wave of cross-cultural understanding and collective social action. A 4-hour live program of films, speakers, and music will be broadcast from cities around the world beginning at 18:00 GMT, and will reach people globally through the Internet, television, digital cinemas, and mobile phones. Over a thousand individuals and organizations, in more than 85 countries, have signed up to host events on Pangea Day where people will gather together to watch the live program.
