Actions
- Call and/or email LA Sen. David Vitter (202.224.4623) , asking him to intervene and stop the HUD demolitions, and supporting passage of Senate Bill 1668, “The Gulf Coast Recovery Act,” which woulprovide housing assistance for residents affected by Katrina
- Call and/or email New Orleans City Council members for member list and contact info), asking them to stop the HUD demolitions
- Organize direct actions at HUD offices across the United States to demand the Housing Rights of the Citizens and Residents of New Orleans
