We've received some images from Hub user lionresearch that purport to show some of the effects of operations in the last few days by the Kenyan security forces.  The security forces are said to be cracking down on "bandits" in the Samburu East district of northern Kenya, and IRIN and the East African Standard (the only major outlets to have stories on these security operations currently) report many displaced, many casualties and some missing among the pastoralist communities in this district.
