This public service announcement (PSA) was produced in 1999 by WITNESS, the Coalition for an International Criminal Court and Asphalt Films to advocate for the creation of a permanent, international, criminal court to prosecute war crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity.

Since then, the International Criminal Court (ICC) was established in 2002 and 108 countries have already joined as members of the court.

However, much remains to be done to strengthen the work of the ICC - several nations, including China, Russia, India, and the United States oppose the ICC and have not joined.
