Despite widespread knowledge that Australia boasts a number of detention centres, that our waters are fiercely protected and that our government pays our poor, small neighboring island nations to detain refugees caught en route to our shores, for many Australians, what happens to refugees after their arrival in Australia is mostly a mystery. Who is helping refugees in Australia and how? What stories do these people have? How have their lives been impacted? Produced and directed by Dominic Allen
