On an exciting week, here are three highlights from the Hub:

1) Barack Obama won the election and will be the next president of the United States. But what does that mean for human rights around the world? Human Rights First says: "today we have more hope":

2) In Saudi Arabia, more than 70 activists came together and defied the country's repressive political regime by organizing a protest and hunger strike using the internet. They are protesting the detention without charge of 11 human rights activists. Watch the call to action below and then listen to Mohammad Al-Qahtani - one of the organizers of the campaign - and his wife Maha Al-Qahtani describe why they decided to participate in the hunger strike despite the personal risks involved.

3) From Budapest, the Hungarian Civil Liberties Union brings us this powerful video about why Russia has banned the use of methadone for drug addiction treatment and how that has affected HIV prevention and public health.
