It's the sixth anniversary of the war in Iraq and today's pick is a video that shows members of Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) reenacting the war on the streets of New York City to "bring the truth of the occupation of Iraq" home:

IVAW was formed in 2004 "to give a voice to the large number of active duty service people and veterans who are against this war" and to call for the "immediate withdrawal of all occupying forces in Iraq."  IVAW's urban interventions have happened in several U.S. cities and been viewed thousands of times on the videos that have circulated online.

Today, IVAW, Military Families Speak Out, and Veterans for Peace released an open letter
to the Peace/Anti-War Movement calling for the U.S. government to bring the troops home immediately and "ensure that veterans receive the care they need and that the U.S. provides resources to rebuild a country we destroyed."  Learn more and take action with IVAW.
